To see the sunrise from Punthuk Setumbu Hill, a hill located about 5 km from Borobudur temple when you can see the sun coming behind Merapi, with Borobudur gracefully fell asleep surrounded by mountain ranges and mighty hills.
Pick you up at your hotel at 03.30 Am, continue to visit PUNTHUK SETUMBU HILL. It is one of the best place to watch the Borobudur sunrise from an altitude of 400 m above sea level. The warmth of the sun in the morning reveals the fog blanket that covers Borobudur Temple and wakes it from its place. After watching sunrise at Setumbu Hill we continue to visit the wonderful view of Borobudur temple. We have two hours to see Borobudur.
